Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced the launch of Meta Enterprise Platform a new business vertical where the tech giant will be offering Artificial Intelligence services and its full technology stack as a paid service to businesses.
In an X post on Monday, Zuckerberg said their new pillar of business-Meta Enterprise Platform-will help businesses use AI to grow and transform in new ways.
Interestingly, Zuckerberg began his announcement with a reference to “superintelligence” which will create significant new opportunities for all people and businesses. Recently US President Donald Trump had suggested to change the name of artificial intelligence to superintelligence.

“Meta Enterprise Platform, to help businesses use AI to grow and transform in new ways as well. Meta Enterprise Platform will use our strengths that few other companies have: advanced models, leading agents, large-scale infrastructure, and years of working closely with many businesses. Initially, we will focus on bringing our full technology stack, including the Muse agent, Meta Business Agent, Muse API, Muse Code, and more to businesses and developers to help them grow,” said Zuckerberg in an X post.
To spearhead their AI for Enterprises vertical, Meta has appointed Chirantan CJ Desai as their Chief Enterprise Platform Officer reporting directly to Zuckerberg.

Who is Chirantan CJ Desai, Chief Enterprise Platform Officer for Meta?
CJ joins Meta as Chief Enterprise Platform Officer from MongoDB, an open-source non-SQL database company, where he served as CEO and president. Desai holds a masters degree in computer science and an MBA from University of Illionois Urbana-Champaign.
Prior to his stint at MongoDB, Desai was the president of product and engineering at Cloudflare, President and COO at Service Now and independent board director at Zebra Tech.
