US President Donald Trump on Saturday announced setting up of an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Force team and said he will soon appoint an “AI Czar” to “cherish, help and watch AI grow” and also recommended renaming the technology to either supreme, superior or extreme intelligence.
In a post on Truth Social platform, President Trump hit back at “AI critics” adding that any claims made about AI adding “destruction or decimation” is a hoax. His comments come in the wake of recent demands made by tech industry leaders and key political leaders of a voluntary pausing the advancement of AI owing to cybersecurity risks and bio-weapon threat posed by frontier models.
Referring to AI as similar to the industrial revolution but at a much larger impact level, President Trump lashed out at the critics of the advanced technology, accusing them of “going straight at AI” with the hoax of “decimation or destruction of AI.”
In a post on Truth Social platform, President Trump said only “high IQ individuals” should apply for the post of AI Czar to lead the Trump AI Force.
“Over the years, there have been many Hoaxes, all generated by the Radical Left Dumocrats, for purposes of destroying our Country. RUSSIA, RUSSIA, RUSSIA, UKRAINE, UKRAINE, UKRAINE, Global Warming, Impeachment Hoax #1, Impeachment Hoax #2, Men in Women’s Sports, Transgender for Everyone, and now, the decimation, or destruction, of AI, commonly known as Artificial Intelligence — And I, as President of the United States, will not stand by and let this happen. It all began with an attack on our Data Centers, until people realized how wealthy and prestigious they were for the Communities in which they were built. Higher Salaries, Lower Taxes, and Safer Streets, was the result, and the crazed Data Center attack has largely failed, so now, in much the same way as they changed the term “Global Warming” to “Climate Change,” in that it covers a much larger “territory” of doubt, they are going straight at AI,” wrote Trump.
President Trump also took to X on Saturday to suggest that the term artificial intelligence is inaccurate and very ineloquent.
Many people think that the words “Artificial Intelligence” are inaccurate, and very ineloquent, relative to AI, or Artificial Intelligence. A far more elegant and accurate description of this new phenomena would be Superior Intelligence (SI) or, Extreme Intelligence (EI) or,…
