The Delhi government has issued an “expression of interest” for startups, technology firms, research organisations and industry bodies, having expertise in the field of artificial intelligence, to come up with solutions related to metropolitan governance.
According to the Delhi Government’s Department of Information Technology, interested parties have been asked to submit their suggestions related to use cases of AI in matters of governance, health, education, air quality monitoring, transport and mobility, urban planning and smart cities etc.
The expression of interest was issued on Tuesday asking startups, research institutions, industry bodies to showcase their artificial intelligence based solutions and use cases relevant to public service delivery and governance. According to the Delhi government, the solution must be commercially available and have done at least one successful domestic or international implementation in relation to public service delivery and governance.
The government mentioned that selected organizations can be invited to present and demonstrate their AI solutions as part of an AI innovation showcase being organised by the department of information technology. It further informed that interested candidates can submit a brief solution note or presentation on the official email id ( spl-secyit@delhi.gov.in). The last date for submission is 1 June.
