Manus said its separation from Meta requires the deletion of some user data generated since the acquisition closed on 29 December 2025.

Manus said on Tuesday it will soon return to operating as an independent company, unwinding Meta’s $2 billion acquisition after Chinese regulators ordered the deal reversed in April. Data generated by some users since 29 December 2025 will be deleted later this month as part of the separation.
