Anthropic, an American AI company, announced that it will provide access to its Claude Mythos Preview model to 150 organizations from more than 15 countries including India.
This is for the first time Anthropic will be sharing its Mythos preview model to India based organizations, months after it announced an extremely controlled access to its frontier AI model ‘Claude Mythos’ to tech giants and research organizations under Project Glasswing.
AI FrontPage co-founding editor Vaibhav Jha reached out to Sally Aldous, Anthropic’s head of corporate and policy communications, who confirmed that India is one of the countries that have been offered partnership under Project Glasswing.
“Organizations in India are included in the expansion but we are not giving specific names for security reasons. Partners are able to confirm participation if they choose,” said Sally, in an emailed response to AI FrontPage.
According to Anthropic and independent research organizations, Claude Mythos model has shown “unprecedented abilities” to find vulnerabilities in software systems, compared to other frontier AI models, thereby posing cybersecurity risks for organizations worldwide.

The development comes after India’s Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman warned banks and financial institutions of imminent cybersecurity threats from AI models like Mythos even as the country’s market regulator SEBI announced setting up of a task force ‘Cyber Suraksha AI’ to examine cybersecurity risks posed by Mythos and other frontier AI models.
On Tuesday, Anthropic announced the inclusion of 150 additional organizations from 15 countries under Project Glasswing.
“The organizations in this new group are based in more than 15 countries, and most provide critical infrastructure to many more. (In the future, we intend to expand our geographical reach much further.) The group covers several industries that weren’t well represented in our initial cohort, such as power, water, healthcare, communications, and hardware. And many of the new partners are vendors—companies or nonprofits that maintain codebases that are relied upon by lots of other organizations around the world, including governments.,” read a statement from Anthropic.
What is Project Glasswing by Anthropic?
In April 2026, Anthropic announced Project Glasswing, a collaborative with tech giants like Google, AWS, Apple, NVIDIA,Broadcom, Microsoft, Linux, JPMorgan Chase, Cloudflare, Crowdstrike and research organizations like UK’s AISI, offering a preview version of Claude Mythos on a freemium basis, to “identify vulnerabilities” in their systems. Anthropic claims that its partners under Project Glasswing have already identified more than 10,000 high or critical-severity security flaws. Anthropic has added a clause that every organization needs to pass security requirements threshold before being given access to Mythos.
