HCLTech-Anthropic Global Partnership
HCLTech on Monday announced a global partnership with Anthropic to develop agentic AI solutions for enterprise clients using Claude. Under the agreement, it will establish a dedicated business unit, while its software arm will integrate Anthropic’s AI models into select products, according to an exchange filing.
The partnership will focus on helping enterprises adopt agentic AI systems that can carry out tasks with limited human input, with an emphasis on safety, cybersecurity and governance, the Noida-based IT services company said in the filing.
HCLTech’s services teams will develop industry-specific solutions using Claude, Cowork and Claude Code. HCLSoftware will join Anthropic as an independent software vendor (ISV) partner, integrating Claude capabilities into selected enterprise products across cybersecurity, automation, business process applications and application development.
HCLTech will also integrate Claude and Claude Code into its AI Force platform for software engineering, supporting workflows such as IT support, code remediation and digital employee services. These workflows will include policy guardrails, exception handling and human oversight for high-impact changes.
Anthropic President and Co-founder Daniela Amodei said the partnership would help bring Claude into enterprise environments, including banking, healthcare, telecommunications and manufacturing.
HCLTech said the collaboration combines its engineering, data, cloud and software capabilities with Anthropic’s AI technology to help businesses move from AI experimentation to secure, large-scale deployment.
